Splitting geometry surfaces

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

I've made a MEMS device in Pro/e and am using the LIVELINK for Pro/e module to use the pro/e geometry in COMSOL.

The issue i'm having is that i need to split my top surface into two parts so that i can apply a voltage and ground BC to the model.

I was wondering if anyone has experiance in splitting surfaces in Pro/e, or any ideas that i could try in COMSOL.

Thanks!

Hi,

i don't realy sure whether you already solve the problem or not.

In comsol you can make cutting face on a workplan. and after you finalize the geometry, the parts or surface should be splited.

i hope it helps.
