Modeling nonlinear magnetic properties

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi-

I am pretty new user to COMSOL. I am trying to model a nonlinear BH curve as a material property but am having problems with it. I have defined the BH curve using an interpolation function but beyond that, I am at a it of a loss. If anyone could help me out with a step by step instruction of how to do this (or point me to somewhere it is published - I have been hunting to no avail), that would be great.

Also, I am doing a 2D axisymmetric model - I do not have the AD/DC module.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Roy Martin,

try this link.

www.comsol.de/support/knowledgebase/852/

i have no idea, which modul will you use. As far as i know, magnetic analysis can only be found on ACDC.

Someone has made this model, try to aplicate your HB-curve in the modell.
