How to get arrays of 2000 blocks

I am trying to build Bragg grating. I want the structure like it should have 2000 slabs on a waveguide. For that I am using an array to get 2000 blocks. But the simulation stops if I give some 100 blocks in an array. The maximum I can give is about 60. Can anyone suggest how to build such kind of device?
