Determining the power dissipation of a Point Force

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi.... What equation and where do I put it in Comsol to determine the total power dissipation of a set of Point Force.

I am using the mems module and my model has 4 point forces on opposite ends of a mechanical resonator to dampen down the displacements and I need to determine the total energy absorbed by the point forces in a full harmonic cycle of a frequency domain study.

The equation I am using for the point forces is: -Damping_number[N*s/m]*w*j*pzd.omega

Guy
