Equation based solution of system of PDEs. Example sought after.

Hi, the cited reference to the Black-Scholes equation provided me with helpful introduction to using equation based modelling. However I would also like to study an example, - if any exist, - on how to implement a system of PDEs. More specifically I have a system of time-dependent DE derived from a model of a chemical sensor. The concentrations of many species, up to 10, are described by those equations, and and wnat to set up a time-dependent solution. It would be nice to be able to follow an example though. Hello Poul Ravn,

When you have multiple variables involved in your own equations, you're often better off setting them up in a single physics interface than in separate ones. A couple of example with two variables (and two equations) are here: https://www.comsol.com/model/the-shallow-water-equations-202 https://www.comsol.com/model/electrical-signals-in-a-heart-981

But if it is chemical reactions that you are trying to model, you may want to look into the Chemical Reaction Engineering Module ( https://www.comsol.com/chemical-reaction-engineering-module ) as well, as it includes ready-to-use interfaces for this that will make your life much easier, especially when you are talking about 10 species.
