AWE solver

I'm trying to use the AWE solver for a sweep of frequency in a RF model (like using a VNA). I am used to HFSS, which can do fast sweeps and get up to 10000 points in the frequency interval (obviously, without calculating all of them). I don't know how to get the same behaviour in COMSOL 4.1. I set the AWE solver with start and end frequency (lets say 2.4e9 to 3.1e9) and then I use emw.S21dB as an expression (for error estimation). But the results only show both frequency extreme points or the solver used points, but not a smooth sweep between frequency values. Has anybody used this solver? I've found no references to AWE in this forum.
Thanks a lot.
