Dear all,

Can anybody advise in the context that which sources of energy are available in COMSOL 4? e.g. Steam, Electricity, Ultrasound waves etc.

I have used a few like Microwaves, Magnetic field bu not sure about others, whether they are available or not, if available how to define?

Secondly, can I insert(implement) my own equation into COMSOL?If yes, how?

Any help will be higly appreciated...
Thanks.

Hi

COMSOL is first of all a PDE solver. From the moment you can write your driving equations as PDE of the type Boundary Value equations you can solve them with COMSOL. COMSOL has several "pre-cooked" physical environments, as you can se from the main web site.

It not really related to a particular "energy", rather to specific domains of physics, and you can couple them, once you get used to the notations

Good luck
