Inverted mesh element near coordinates.

Hi,

There was warning messages (ALE simulation) :

Inverted mesh element near coordinates (1.94001e-006, -1.45013e-008).

and also ,

The solver did not converge

the error message was

Singular matrix.
Last time step is not converged.

Is there any predictable boundary condition problems?

Hi

check (search) the forum there are many discussions around those points. I always recheck my BC when I get a singular matrix. Inverted mesh elements are not necesarily fully dammaging, but with ALE it indicates potential weak regions, or even faults so its worth to investigat the location and the deformed mesh.

Often its instructif to use plotting while solving to see how the solver progresses (not only the convergence value, but a few dependent paramters how they oscillate, or the ALE mesh how it distorts
