"open boundry" or "no flux" setting did not make a difference in diffusion calculation

Hi,

I am simulating a diffustion of a species through a block geometry. It should be simple. Basically, the species had a concentration at the entrance surface (one side) and the initial concentration in the block was zero. I did two calculations. In the first one, I set all surfaces except the entrance surface as "open boundry" and in the 2nd calculation, I set all surfaces except the entrance surface as "no flux". The results did not show any difference. I would expect in the former there would be outward flux on the open boundry surfaces. Did I do something wrong here? can anyone help?

Thanks a lot...
