Rebounding of electrons

Hi,

at the moment, I'm simulating electron lenses with COMSOL Multiphysics(Electrostatics).

My Problem is that I never succeeded to reflect the electrons(particle tracing), that I simulated, at a boundary.

Of course there's the possibility of charged boundarys, but by that way, I destroy the realistic behaviour of the electrons in the lens.

Has anyone got an advice for me to handle that problem?

Thanks for your help!

Tobi

Hi,

which physical mechanism do you have in mind, that would reflect electrons from an uncharged boundary?

Cheers
