Boundary Condition in Thermal flow Model

I am trying to find the temperature change across the surface of a cylinder when a point heat source(a point on surface of cylinder) is used as heat source. But it's not working. I tried giving temperature on total outer surface of cylinder(included with point source) as 300K but the result shows no change in temperature. If i exclude the common outer surfaces to point heat source then model shows change in temperature why?
