20 degrees phase shift

If i want to give 90 degrees phase shift simply i can give "i" ,but if i want 20 degrees phase shift can i apply simply "i-70",will it work

Hi

the phasor approach is in radians not in degrees, so use rather:

V0*exp(i*pi*Phase_in_degrees/180)

By the way you should check the sign convention, if you use a + or a - in front of your "i"

Instead of this may give like this

90 degrees=exp(j*pi/2)

45 degrees=exp(j*pi/4)

is it correct

That look s fine, normally i and j are synonymes (try it out in a parameter field of COMSOL)
