Error message

Hi.

When I have created my model, when I have computed it an error message has appeared.

The text was : "Failed to find consistent initial values.
Last time step is not converged."

Someone can help me to find a solution to this problem?

Thanks.

Hi

Sorry cannot help much, but that means that your initial conditions are too far away from the final results, think over your model, give a best engineering guess of the dependent variables for the solved case (mostly better tha all "0" and try that as initial conditions, often it helps

And check: is the mesh compliant with the expected model results ?

Good luck

I had that same error and was able to fix it by changing the time step.

Go to Study> Solver Configurations> Solver 1> Time-Dependent Solver 1> Time Stepping (in the Time-Dependent Solver window) and change the Initial Step value (make it smaller by at least 1 order of magnitude.)
And this should solve it!

Good Luck
