Can I modify COMSOL solution after it has been computed?

Hello

I am currently working on a reactive transport model in COMSOL, which is coupled with PHREEQC. As part of the verification process, I have been examining the results for each time step. To facilitate this, I have selected 'Steps taken by solver' as the option for 'Times to store'.

The verification process has been successfully completed, and as a result, I no longer need to examine the results for every single time step. Consequently, I am interested in removing the unnecessary part of the solution to reduce the file size of the model. Opening and copying the model file has been time-consuming due to its large size, so reducing the file size would be beneficial in terms of efficiency.

Thanks for reading. If you need any more information, please leave me a comment.

Hello

The method of deleting only part of the analyzed result is as follows.

1. Add one more study. Select empty study as the study type.
2. Right-click the added study and select Combine Solutions.
3. Set as follows.
Solution operation: Remove solutions
Solution: Select the appropriate solution
Exclude or include:
Exclude in case of exclusion
Include in case of extracting only the selected area
Include method: Explicit
Time (s): From list
Select only the excluded area or extracted area in the window below, and then select Compute.

Thankyou.
