Joule heating

Hello,
I am trying to study the joule heating by applying a current density to a material (simple block). I know how to do this by applying a ground and potential boundaries to the block (making a current pass through it) and it heats. What I want to do is, instead of applying a potential difference, I want to define the current that passes along the material. Is it possible? Thank you.

Apply a Boundary Current Source node at the boundary that has Electric Potential node in your model.

Hi

I would add: and disable the "electric potential" or "terminal" node, as you should only keep one of these three active at the sime time on the same boundary

Of course :)

But I think COMSOL overwrites the former with the latter BC by default, so it should work anyway...
