Ion tracing through solids

Hi I am replicating an example in from the https://www.comsol.com/particle-tracing-module. and I want to simulate it with multiple sheets instead of a solid block. So i make the walls transparent and did the simulation but no output waveforms are seen. so can anyone help to let me know if how to do simulation with multiple sheets where charged ions or electrons will pass through it.
