Dear all,

Does anybody know how to estimate errors in calculations caused by mesh size.

Thanks in advance,
Alex

Hi Alex

my way is to refine once, resolve and compare the results, but smethimes the errors are very local (stress concetration or E field concetration around sharp edges) then an adaptive meshing refinement is often better than a global refinement

Thre should be a residual variable somewhere too, check in the doc

Good luck
Ivar
