Frequency-Domain Analysis of a SAW Unit Cell

This model shows that the frequency response, i.e., admittance curve, of the SAW unit cell with IDT is in good agreement with the series resonance & antiresonance frequencies obtained from the eigenfrequency studies in the tutorial Surface Acoustic Wave Velocity Calculations from a Unit Cell.

The model also compares admittance curves from the FEM simulation and from the modified Butterworth van Dyke (BvD) equivalent circuit. The necessary circuit parameters are provided by the abovementioned tutorial and two additional studies: a Stationary study to extract the static capacitance and a lossy Eigenfrequency study to extract the Q factor.
