Learn how to use COMSOL Multiphysics® to model the interaction of electromagnetic waves with periodic structures in this 18-minute webinar. The webinar will include a live demonstration of modeling a plasmonic wire grating embedded in a dielectric substrate to find transmission and reflection characteristics.

In the demonstration, we will build the geometry, assign the appropriate physics settings and boundary conditions, introduce materials, build an appropriate mesh, and solve and visualize the results. We will also cover how to include the effect of diffraction orders and setting up for TE and TM polarized waves.
