how to reduce solution time in highly non linear transient analysis(coupled)?

Hi,
I am doing simulation of plate with elliptical surface crack in comsol 4.1. I am exciting the plate with sinusoidal displacement.Doing thermal structure interaction time dependent problem.At the crack surface contact physics have been applied & at the crack surface radiative b.c.have been applied.If i simulate this for 1 mili second,it take almost 15 hour to solve.I have to simulate up to 1 second. Is any method available in comsol to reduce the solution time??


Please reply.Its urgent.
