Convergence problem

Hi!

I try to simulate a gold nanorod on glass using RF Module (see the attachment). Either I have problem with meshing or the geometry has some singularities. Actually I have been struggling with this model for a very long time and any trials were to no avail. I tried wavelength-dependent mesh for near field and extremely fine mesh for near and far field domains. It still takes from teens (this is not bad yet) to even hundreds (really bad) of iterations to converge. I don't have any problem with this model when it includes additional domain of a surfactant on particle. I have 12-thread CPU, over 30 GB of RAM at my disposal. Please, help me.

Cheers in advance,

Radek
