parallel plate capacitor electrode resistance

is comsol able to simulation the electrode resistance(equivalent series resistance) of a parallel plate capacitor? i don't know how to ger started. can anyone help me?

  1. In general, the answer is yes.
  2. How to do it- it depends on the physical mechanism for the loss. What is the physical configuration and materials used in the capacitor? Does the loss arise from ohmic losses in the electrodes or some other cause? etc.

The recommended starting point is working through relevant tutorials and looking for related examples on the Comsol website.
