Yearly Seasonal Temperature boundary condition

Hi, I am doing some thermal models of the ground soil. I add a constant temperature at the soil bottom boundary and a yearly seasonal variation temperature at the ground surface. The initial temperature of the whole domain is also equal to the temperature applied to the bottom boundary. But my problem is the** temperature distribution** dosen't make sense, as shown in the figure here.

Umm, why exactly doesn't it make sense?

You will also want to post the reduced model file to get useful comments.
