Adsorption model of diluted species

I am simulating an adsorption process in a channel. The channel geometry is hollow in the center and has a thin porous layer on the four walls into which the gas is adsorbed. The gas is in a very dilute form which is given at inlet through the central hollow region of the channel with a certain uniform velocity. I am trying to obtain breakthrough curves at the outlet. My simulation runs perfectly fine till the gas reaches almost half the channel. However mass balance is lost once the gas reaches near the exit. The breakthrough curves show higher concentration of the gas than given at the inlet which shouldn't be. I tworks well for cetain values of inlet velocity, concentrationa nd other input parameters for not for others. Can anyone please guide me in this. I tried to resolve the mesh but it didn't work.
