How to incorporate varying temperature with respect to time??

As the ambient temperature varies with time, I wish to add that variation pattern of temperature in COMSOL 4.3a. Is it possible? If possible, how can I add

1. using equations
2. using excel sheet for that particular entry alone.

Hi

use the interpolated functions for that, import an excel or easier "txt" file with the data (check the doc for interpolation functions). If these values are to be mapped onto a geometry, you can select the tick "use space coordinates as arguments, but then you must respect the space format x,y,z, value see the doc for details, and the model library for examples)

Good luck
