File import of the NX™ and SOLIDWORKS® file formats is available only on a supported Windows® or Linux® operating system with Intel® 64-bit processors. File import of the AutoCAD® and Inventor® file formats is available only on a supported Windows® operating system.

3 File import of the SOLIDWORKS® file format on a Linux® operating system requires that the Network Services Library (libnsl.so) package is installed.

LiveLink™ Products for CAD Software
The bidirectional interface functionality of the product suite detailed in the table below is available only for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11. Synchronization in offline mode is available on all supported Windows®, Linux®, and macOS operating systems. File Import for CATIA® V5
The File Import for CATIA® V5 add-on to the CAD Import Module, Design Module, and LiveLink™ products for CAD is only available for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11.
LiveLink™ for Excel®
An Excel® installation is not required for reading and writing Excel files. LiveLink™ for Excel® offers additional features when Excel® is installed on the Windows® operating system. LiveLink™ for Excel® is compatible with Excel® 2016, 2019, and 2021 on the Windows® operating system. If using Office 365, Excel® must be installed on the computer — LiveLink™ for Excel® requires a version of Excel that supports VSTO add-ins.
LiveLink™ for MATLAB®
LiveLink™ for MATLAB® is compatible with MATLAB® R2023a and R2023b on all supported operating systems. For Linux® operating systems, the xterm and csh programs are required. For macOS1 operating systems, the XQuartz and csh programs are required.
LiveLink™ for Simulink®
LiveLink™ for Simulink® is compatible with Simulink® R2023a and R2023b on all supported operating systems. For Linux® operating systems, the xterm program is required. For macOS1 operating systems, the XQuartz program is required.
For macOS with Apple silicon processors, you need to install update 1 for version 6.2. For further details view the product update page.
