Advancing Aerospace & Defense Technologies with Multiphysics Simulation - Archived
From understanding the cabin conditions within an airplane to the materials used in aircraft lightweighting, the physics phenomena that come into play in the aerospace and defense domains are numerous. Simulating these applications and systems accurately involves accounting for the interaction between multiple different physics so as to resemble real-world conditions as closely as possible.
In this webinar conducted in collaboration with SAEINDIA, we will introduce you to the capabilities of multiphysics simulation for modeling several applications specific to aerospace and defense research and development. We will show you how you can couple different physics phenomena and accurately simulate and optimize real-world systems using the COMSOL Multiphysics® software.
We will discuss how to model:
- Structural analyses including fatigue
- A swashplate mechanism in helicopters
- Composite materials for lightweighting applications
- Lightning protection systems
- Noise, vibration, and harshness analysis
- Cabin acoustics and flow duct acoustics
- Batteries, fuel cells, and electrolyzer systems
