COMSOL 4.0 with MATLAB - out of memory error

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hey everyone,

I'm trying to use the LiveLink for MATLAB from COMSOL 4.0, and I started out by reading the LiveLink user guide.
in the user guide, it starts with an example of a "feeder clamp" model, which already exists in the model library. I saved the model as an m-file, and started "COMSOL 4.0 with MATLAB". I opened the m-file and ran it, and I got an error:

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

??? Java exception occurred:
Exception:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
(rethrown as com.comsol.util.exceptions.FlException)
Messages:
PermGen space

Stack trace:

Error in ==> feeder_clamp at 18
model.physics.create('solid', 'SolidMechanics', 'geom1');

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

can anybody tell what can I do? I'm pretty stuck in here...
I tried incresing the internal memory but it didn't work.

thank you,
Yael.
