Electron energy distribution function- Plasma modelling regarding

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I am solving the Boltzmann equation to get an accurate (self consistent) Electon energy distibution function for argon based chemistry. I am importing the EEDF from 1-D Boltzmann interface to my 2-D model which is a dielectric barrier discharge plasma actuator.

Can anybody tell me if only importing the EEDF will suffice? Or, do i need to make changes to plasma chemistry (rate constants, mobility....transport and diffusive properties) also? From my viewpoint, since the main aim of setting up a self consistent plasma model by calculating the EEDF is to calculate the rate constants and other transport properties like Mobility etc, Hence, importing them from the 1_D boltzmann interface makes sense. If this is true, can anybody please guide me how to achieve this?

I sincerely appreciate the help.

Thank you

Best regards
Zaid
