COMSOL Multiphysics ® Essential Training (Online)
This 1-day online course provides an introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics®. Attendees will be led at an introductory level through topics needed in all analyses (geometry creation, meshing techniques, physics setup, and postprocessing). To teach this course, we use a combination of guided hands-on demonstrations and lectures. The goal is to immerse you in all of the main aspects of using COMSOL Multiphysics® so that you feel comfortable working with the most important tools in the software.
Course Topics
- Create geometries and import CAD files
- Set up physics and multiphysics
- User-defined functions and external data
- Fundamentals of meshing
- Analysis with parametric sweeps
- Results and postprocessing
- Basics of building and distributing simulation apps
We will mix theory with hands-on exercises. Video tutorials will be sent out before the course to give you the possibility to get acquainted with the software beforehand. Depending on the course participants' interests, some of these topics may be changed.
Suggested Background
The COMSOL Multiphysics® Essential Training course is suitable for anyone with an engineering, physics, or science background. No previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics® is required.
