LiveLink™ for MATLAB® Updates

For users of LiveLink™ for MATLAB®, COMSOL Multiphysics® software version 5.6 includes transparency in individual plots using mphplot, as well as the ability to use tags of models on the server for mphsave and mphload. View the LiveLink™ for MATLAB® updates below.

Mphplot

COMSOL Multiphysics® version 5.6 includes new functionality for adding transparency to individual plots in a plot group, which can be used for most plot types. Accordingly, mphplot supports this transparency in individual plots.

A capacitor model with transparency created with COMSOL Multiphysics and shown in MATLAB. Transparency supported by mphplot Plot from a capacitor model showing slice plots with transparency, making it possible to see the geometry and the results in the same plot.

Mphsave and mphload

Mphsave and mphload have been improved to support saving and loading models using the tag that is used on the server. This makes it easier to work with multiple files on the server.

It is possible to get a list of models loaded on the server using the mphtags command. Demonstrating the mphtags command It is possible to get a list of models loaded on the server using the mphtags command.
